    Illinois People’s Action (IPA) is a progressive faith and grassroots-based community organization in downstate Illinois. Our mission is to empower everyday people and congregations to organize and win on justice issues affecting their lives, communities, state and nation. Over 25 years IPA has organized successfully on issues ranging from predatory lending, immigrant rights, home foreclosures, banking reinvestment and climate change leading with racial equity. We are affiliated with the People’s Action national organizing network.
