African Community Exchange in Tanzania

  • About Us

The African Community Exchange (ACE) is committed to serving rural villages in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania through service-learning opportunities for volunteers. Volunteers are needed to teach English, promote healthy living, improve the lives of women, and share cultural differences through partnerships with local schools, orphanages, women's groups, and health organizations. In return, volunteers learn about Tanzanian traditions, customs, and tribal practices. Because of the close proximity to the natural wonders of Mount Kilimanjaro and surrounding national parks, volunteers also have unique opportunities to see African wildlife in their free time. Our vision is to offer life-changing experiences where you can be the catalyst of positive change both for yourself, and others.
