United Community Services for Working Families

United Community Services (UCS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community-based organization with solid experience and capacity. UCS’s mission is “to build community partnerships which will assess community economic, educational and social needs, and develop strategies for delivering programs to meet those needs.” As such, UCS collaborates with both public and private partners. For example, UCS partners with regional workforce development organizations, United Way and other community based organizations, construction unions and their apprenticeship programs, public school districts, PA Departments of Labor, Education, and Environmental Protection, as well as foundations.
