Local Policy Lab

The Local Policy Lab (LPL), a dynamic nonprofit start-up, supports cities with expertise and actionable policy approaches to promote and protect democracy, center justice and equity, and address the climate crisis. 

LPL helps local governments identify effective solutions to democracy and climate challenges through facilitated cohort convenings and individualized assistance. Furthermore, plans are underway to:

-- Create an “Action Lab” to promote cohort insights to cities and other organizations nationwide;

-- Prioritize city learnings and policies that value equitable participation and a diverse and inclusive society; and

-- Build a membership community that enables policymakers to learn about proposals and legislation, network with their peers, and receive strategic support as they craft effective solutions for their communities.
