Washington Multicultural Services Link (WMSL) empowers African Diaspora and African American families — including individuals with disabilities and special healthcare needs — by providing culturally and linguistically responsive support services, advocacy, and community-based resources that promote equity, inclusion, and overall well-being.
Washington Multicultural Services Link (WMSL) is a Black-led, community-based nonprofit located in South Seattle. We were founded by immigrant families with lived experience navigating the challenges of disability, cultural stigma, and systemic racism. Our organization serves African Diaspora and African American families throughout King County, with a focus on those raising children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. We provide advocacy, family navigation, peer support, behavioral health education, and culturally grounded programming in multiple languages. Our work is rooted in equity, community voice, and the belief that all families deserve accessible, respectful, and inclusive services.
