NewFest: LGBTQ+ Film & Media | New York

NewFest gives queer stories a platform by celebrating LGBTQIA+ filmmakers and their work. As New York’s LGBTQ film and media arts organization, we host year-round screenings and events, including The Annual New York Annual LGBTQ+ Film Festival, presented each October. NewFest’s mission is to give voice and visibility to the full spectrum of New York’s queer community through screenings and events that entertain, educate and empower. In bringing diverse audiences and filmmakers together, NewFest creates spaces and conversations that have the capacity to open minds, shift cultural bias, and create positive change.
