Global Forest Generation

  • About Us

Global Forest Generation (GFG) is a US based 501(c)3 NGO which develops multi-country, large-scale, forest restoration projects internationally. GFG partners with local leaders and communities to plant the right trees in the right places. We’re regenerating vital forest ecosystems for their critical role in preserving water, storing carbon, and protecting biodiversity. Our projects ensure the viability of indigenous cultures and are a refuge for endangered species. GFG’s flagship initiative is Accion Andina, which seeks to restore and protect 1 million hectares of high Andean, native forests in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela over the next 25 years.
