Chicago Art Project

  • About Us

The mission of the Chicago Art Project is to examine, chronicle, exhibit and advance the art and culture of Chicago and its region. The Chicago Art Project works with artists and the public to showcase the rich legacy and continuing accomplishment in the visual arts here. Our secondary focus is to consider other artistic mediums that inspire and motivate Chicago’s visual artists. We foster and enable scholarly and artistic pursuits through a wide range of activities concentrating on art made in Chicago. Our programming supports artists of every generation and will recognize the strength created by the diversity of our community. We provide unique opportunities to broaden and deepen our creative community. We are inclusive, not exclusive, as an active exhibition and performance environment.
