    The Grand Canyon Wolf Recovery Project is a coalition of individuals and representatives from conservation organizations, zoos, and colleges. They include: Animal Defense League of Arizona, Northern Arizona Audubon, Center for Biological Diversity, Defenders of Wildlife, Denver Zoo, Flagstaff Activist Network: predator protect and respect program, Grand Canyon Wildlands Council, Phoenix Zoo, Prescott College, The Rewilding Institute, the Sierra Club/Grand Canyon Chapter, Grand Canyon Hikers and Backpackers Association, plus Terra & Perry Crampton. The goal of the group is the recovery of wolves in the Grand Canyon Ecoregion.
