  • Mission

The Dharmakaya Center for Wellbeing sits at the intersection of ancient wisdom and contemporary wellbeing. Grounded in Buddhist traditions, we focus on an integrated practice involving both the mind and the body. Physical wellbeing creates a positive environment for mental health; mental wellbeing produces a sense of equanimity that is the foundation for physical health. Our mission is to provide a wide range of practices drawn from ancient wisdom, for all levels of interest, in order to cultivate physical and emotional wellbeing in the greatest number of people.

    About Us

The Dharmakaya Center is a meditation retreat center, situated on a 90-acre campus in the Hudson Valley of New York. The Center was founded by Trungram Gyalwa Rinpoche, PhD in order to share ancient Buddhist teachings in ways that are responsive to a 21st Century way of life. The Center opened in 2017.
