  • Mission

    CASA of the Laurel Highlands – Beginnings, Inc. recruits, screens, trains, and supervises community volunteers who are then appointed by the juvenile judge to help represent the best interests and advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. The program strives to help children through the court system, preserving the family unit or moving them to safe, permanent placements.

    About Us

    Our organization consists of trained volunteers who are court appointed to advocate for the best interest of children involved with the County Children and Youth Agency. Our volunteers are specifically trained in the juvenile court system and child welfare and report directly to the Juvenile Court Judge
