Habitat for Humanity Monroe County Indiana

  • About Us

Our vision at Habitat has always been the same:  a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Our mission is to eliminate poverty housing by building decent, affordable homes in partnership with qualifying families.

Monroe County volunteers give more than 12,000 hours of time and save Habitat more than $4 million each year. Since 1988, our affiliate has been able to house nearly 700 people, including almost 400 children.  Currently, we are building an average of 12 homes each year and have a two-year waiting list for families.
