    Trap Pond Partners is a non-profit, volunteer organization whose mission is to: Our Mission Statement Promote preservation, protection, and enhancement of the historical, natural, and recreational resources of Trap Pond State Park. Assist DNREC & Park Staff in implementing park improvements. Follow the States commitment for "No Child Left Inside" by sponsoring educational, & recreational programs & activities to encourage children's health. Cultivate an appreciation of Trap Pond as a great natural resource for all ages.​​​

    About Us

    Trap Pond Partners is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. In September of 2000, we officially partnered with the Division of Parks & Recreation and in January of 2006 we were recognized and approved by the IRS. Most of our membership comes from western Sussex County. As members, we care deeply about preserving Trap Pond State Park's natural and recreational resources for future generations.
