Healthcare for Massachusetts Campaign

Our organization is citizen led initiative to amend the Constitution of Massachusetts to ensure that every Mass resident has access to affordable, comprehensive and equitably financed health care coverage.

This is very significant and the timing is good. There are several health care bills being evaluated by the state legisilators and when one gets finalized, this amendment will help lock in the progress made by the legislative process. If the political or economic winds change in future, the amendment will make it the duty and obligation of legislators not to back away or de-fund programs (as has been done in past).
