OPEIU Local 30

On February 1, 1945, the Office & Professional Employees International Union granted Local 30 its charter in Los Angeles. This charter allows Local 30 to organize in Southern California.

OPEIU, Local 30 is a local union of the Office & Professional Employees International Union. We are affiliated with the AFL-CIO, the California Federation of Labor, the San Diego Imperial Counties Labor Council, the Orange County Labor Council, the San Bernardino Central Labor Council, and the Los Angeles Central Labor Council.

 The objectives of Local 30 include first and foremost, service to our members in their various workplaces. We support the issues of working people in the communities where our members live and work, in Southern California, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, and throughout the United States. The central goal of this local union shall be to further the causes of organized labor, and to support working people in all trades, businesses, and professions.
