  • Mission

The Arc of Atlantic County improves the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community. Through direct services, advocacy, education, and prevention activities, we work in partnership with individuals and their families to make choices possible about how and where they live, learn, work, and play.

    About Us

The Arc of Atlantic County has been providing valuable services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families since 1961. We serve approximately 1,000 people in a variety of programs. Our residential programs include group homes, supervised apartments, and supported living options. Many of the people we serve are living in the community with their families and receive our case management and family support services. Other community-based programs include and adult day program, support coordination, sports and recreation programs, and supported employment services. No Experience Necessary: Our Vision is that people have the opportunities and support they need to live the lives they choose. That means you too! We believe that anyone with a desire to volunteer has something to offer. While some positions have specific skills required, most simply require you to be yourself. Your volunteer work is based on your skills and interests and is matched with the current needs of our programs.
