To provide companion birds in need with the best, well suited and loving homes through exemplary rescue, sanctuary and education.
Our organization takes in companion birds, primarily parrot species, but also pigeons, doves, finches and others that are in need of a new home. These birds come to us for a variety of reasons: death of a previous owner, behavioral, illness, change of living situations, and as lost pets, etc. Once these birds come to us we care for and rehabilitate them as necessary. We primarily aim to find new homes for these birds through a rigorous application process as well as education and training for their new family. However, as some of these birds are evaluated it is decided that the best place for them is staying with us at the rescue and will become residents where they will continue to receive exceptional love and care. While our primary goal is to rehabilitate and rehome most of the birds that come to us, we also prioritize the education of not only our potential adopters, but also all of our volunteers who contribute to the care of the birds at the rescue. We educate everyone who visits the rescue about the care, training and ethology of our birds to spread awareness about the species that are relinquished to us. For owners that are struggling but do not want to resort to relinquishing their birds we also provide education and resources to help them keep their birds in their home. Our primary goal is to ensure that any companion birds are receiving optimal care either with us at the rescue, or by educating their current or future families.
