Company Overview

Habitat’s store in Edgewood Towne Centre is part of the network of 825 Habitat ReStores in the United States and Canada. ReStores follow a four-step process to raise funds for its affordable housing programs: 1. Accepts donations of new and gently-used building materials and household goods. 2. Sells those items to the public at 50-70% off the retail price. 3. Uses the proceeds to achieve Habitat’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope. 4. Does it all with the help of volunteers.

The Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh ReStore accepts donations of reusable house building and home improvement materials from individuals and organizations. Donated goods are then sold to the public at 50%-70% of the retail value. All proceeds from the sale of donations help place families in affordable shelter in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
