Cecil Land Trust (CLT)

  • About Us

Cecil Land Trust (CLT) is a non-profit land trust in Cecil County, Maryland. Since 1998, we have been working with landowners, community and conservation partners to protect land from future development. Together, we’ve helped to permanently protect approximately 3,000 acres. We’re committed to raising awareness about the importance of conserving northeastern Maryland’s farms, forests, waters and historical heritage for future generations through education, outreach and dialogue. Through our network of volunteer Board members, landowners, friends and allies, we also strive to encourage sustainable agricultural practices on conserved properties and to promote the economic importance of local food production and agro-tourism to our region.
