  • About Us

Jewish Family Service, Inc. of Broward County (JFS) was established in 1963 in response to a growing need for mental health services in Broward County. Services had been previously supplied by a Miami agency. Since that time, the agency has grown serving over 25,000 clients annually in Broward County. JFS has grown continually in staff, budget and range of programs to provide excellence in service. The JFS mission is dedicated to empowering individuals, strengthening families and protecting the vulnerable by providing exceptional human services, guided by the Jewish values of social responsibility, compassion and respect. JFS envisions a community where no one is in need, alone or without hope.
