STARR Inc. was founded in 2003 with a mission of community empowerment. We are committed to promoting the health and wellness of all members of the communities we serve by providing culturally competent and evidence-informed programs, training, education and services. In an effort to build social capacity and create sustainable change, STARR stands together with community partners to improve quality of life.
STARR has been providing services to out-of-school time (OST) programs for over six years including comprehensive leadership and arts, and violence prevention programming. Each curriculum offers participants both education and hands-on experiences with the goal of fostering learning about self, increasing feelings of empowerment, engaging in service and developing leaders.
