Friends of Hedberg Public Library

Our mission statement: To help the Hedberg Public Library achieve its goals, to provide an extra level of services not possible through the normal operating budget and to advocate for the library in the community.

We fund and operate The Ground Floor store. All proceeds benefit our organization. Volunteers at the Ground Floor work the counter selling snacks, drinks, gift items and used books to patrons of the Hedberg Public Library. They are able to choose from two to three hour shifts Sunday through Saturday. Some volunteers work two shifts a week and some work two shifts a month. Volunteer hours are chosen to fit the volunteer's schedule and interest.
