About Us
La Casa Hogar delivers education and social support to Yakima Valley's Latin@ immigrant community. Our vision is for a connected community Latin@s call "home." La Casa is a passionate bilingual, bicultural 'hogar' where students become family, learn from one another, and unleash their own capacities to strengthen themselves, their families and la comunidad.
Specifically, La Casa offers three types of education: 1) Citizenship Education and Naturalization Legal Services; 2) Early Learning Center and Parent Education; 3) Adult Education (pre-GED, English, computer literacy, drivers' education, health/nutrition). La Casa also offers a Parent Advisory and Civic Engagement group, and seek opportunities to connect our community across linguistic and cultural divides.
