EIS responds to emergency incidents when requested by the involved agencies. When EIS arrives at the scene, EIS provides meals, snacks, beverages, and a place to rest and recover to the involved personnel. Our mission statement "Serving Those Who Serve" describes what EIS does.
EIS is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteers with different backgrounds and skills. EIS is a rapid response organization and available 24/7/365 when requested by the involved agencies. EIS serves agencies throughout El Paso County. EIS has supported Fire, Law Enforcement, Wildland Fire, Search & Rescue, and other First Responder Groups.
In 2024, 32 volunteers contributed a total of 2670 hours and EIS responded to 17 incidents and events. In 2023, 38 volunteers contributed a total of 2920 hours and EIS responded to 22 incidents and events. In 2022, 40 volunteers contributed 3246 hours and EIS responded to 32 incidents and events.
