    YouthBuild Lake County (YBLC) is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit agency that offers low-income young adults (ages 17-25) the opportunity to change their lives and become self-sufficient. YBLC is a local chapter of YouthBuild USA, a national youth development organization that started in Harlem, New York in 1990. Recently, YouthBuild USA was selected as one of America's 12 best non-profits by more than 2,500 non-profit CEOs. In August 2011, YBLC will commence its tenth year of educational and vocational training programs. Our mission is to help low income young adults complete their education, learn the necessary skills to become employed and build a hopeful future for themselves and their families.
