  • About Us

To nurture, celebrate, and promote the achievements of playwrights, playwriting and the American Theatre, in order to educate, entertain and culturally enrich the communities of Kansas the region and beyond.

We have an annual Theatre Festival every April (for the past 25 years) honoring a great American Playwright.

Throughout the year we have playwright residencies at William Inge's family home where playwrights can come and write for two months.

Throughout the year we have our resident playwrights teach playwriting classes at different local rural high schools.
