Whittier Alliance

The Mission of the Whittier Alliance is to ensure safety and livability by facilitating, advocating and leading the diverse voices of the Whittier Neighborhood.

The Whittier Alliance is an organization of volunteers who live, work, own property or a business in the Whittier Neighborhood. As the official citizen participation organization for the Whittier Neighborhood, the Whittier Alliance provides and invaluable function for the neighborhood and those investing in it. It mobilizes human and financial resources to organize and implement a base of operation for citizen participation, with a concern for all the children, youth, individuals, families and businesses in the Whittier Neighborhood. The Whittier Alliance builds an informed and involved community by holding open meetings, convening task forces and doing extensive community outreach.
