Mission Statement

We are committed to serving individuals and families by providing access to resources and services to meet their most pressing physical, social, and spiritual needs, in a manner that preserves their dignity and affirms their self-worth.

02 Charity projects

Dare to Care is a community development and services outreach arm of The Faith Center, Inc., a 501(C)3 organization. It has two primary initiatives during the year. The first is to provide needed groceries to more than 500 families each week. Our mission is to address the food insecurities in South Florida by distributing food every Saturday and on the first Wednesdays of each month to residents of Broward County experiencing food insecurity. The second is our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. This event has a goal of providing groceries for thanksgiving dinner to over 3,000 local residents annually.

03 Foundation and Events

Dare to Care serves between 370 to 400 families every week who are Broward County residents who meet Farm Share, Feeding South Florida & Gateway requirements. If you reside in Lauderhill or within Broward County, please visit us. We are here to help. Once a year during the Thanksgiving season, Dare to Care hosts a Thanksgiving Drive. Each year the number of families we have served has increased. in 2019 we provided turkeys and bags of groceries to over 3,000 families. Join us in our efforts, volunteers, donate groceries and help us make this bigger and better.
