We believe that sport has a uniquely powerful ability to help solve some of society’s most challenging problems, specifically through the practice of Sport for Good – the use of sport as a tool for social change. Our breakthrough formula for impact brings together young people, community assets, and our unique ecosystem of allies with our proven model (grant making, convening, research, collective impact, and membership) to unite communities through the power of sport. Laureus serves as a bridge for sport and youth development organizations and a destination for funders, researchers and policy makers that are interested in changing community chemistry from what is predicable to what is possible. By supporting programs on the ground and driving collaboration nationwide, we are able to achieve our mission to improve the lives of youth and unite communities through the power of sport.
