  • About Us

Vets Advocacy is nonprofit dedicated to end the scourge of veteran homelessness in Los Angeles. Vets Advocacy was formed as part of the landmark settlement of the Valentini v. Shinseki litigation, a class-action brought by the ACLU, Public Counsel, and Inner City Law Center on behalf of homeless and disabled veterans, to partner with the VA in ending veteran homelessness in the LA area.  Vets Advocacy has two main programs: (1) oversight of the revitalization of the 388-acre West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs campus into the best veterans community in the nation, with 1,200 units of permanent supportive housing, and (2) advocacy to improve the homeless veteran systems and community-based programs in Los Angeles.
