Mission
Empowering orphan, vulnerable children and the youth out of social marginalization, isolation and discrimination through income generating initiatives and provision of access to education for better resource management and control for improved quality of life.
About Us
Liseli Initiative serves the vulnerable members of Livingstone Communities by empowering them in three major projects;
- Financial Literacy: We train our beneficiaries on basic financial knowledge of how to generate, invest, save and manage their finances
- Menstrual Hygiene: Liseli is supporting vulnerable women and girls with reusable sanitary pads. We make and distribute the pads to women and girls in the community.
- Skills Training: In collaboration with other local NGO's , Liseli is training young people in different skills such as fish farming, metal fabrication, tailoring, weaving and computer skills.
- Basic Literacy: We teach out of school children, women and men basic English speaking skills and numeracy. Most of the beneficiaries are school drop outs due to pregnancy and financial constraints.
