WaterWalla is a social enterprise that helps people living in urban slums get access to clean water by training entrepreneurs to start 'WaterWalla' franchises--stores that sell affordable water purification products to their communities. We are helping solve the problem of access to clean water through a market based and public-health grounded solution that builds the economic and health-related strength of the communities in which we work.
Founded in April 2010 by Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design students, WaterWalla is now headquartered in Providence, RI with operations in Mumbai, India.
