LOVIN SPOONFULS INC

Established in 2010 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Lovin’ Spoonfuls is the largest food rescue agency in New England. We serve 65 cities and towns in Greater Boston, MetroWest, Worcester County, and Hampden County, and work with 90 vendors and over 200 nonprofit partners. We are committed to increasing awareness on topics related to wasted food and hunger, as well as working with the communities we serve to empower people to feed themselves and their families. Each weekday, our highly trained and passionate frontline staff makes pick-ups from vendor partners across Massachusetts. Using our fleet of refrigerated vehicles, we deliver, same day, to nonprofits that serve people facing food insecurity. Our focus is on the rescue of healthy, perishable food - fruits and vegetables, dairy, proteins - in order to help meet the nutritional needs of people facing food insecurity. On average, we provide the equivalent of more than 65,000 meals’ worth of food every week. We are continuing to grow and expand our mission and we are so excited to see what the future has to hold for Lovin' Spoonfuls.
