The Great Basin Institute advances ecological literacy and direct land conservation through direct-service initiatives such as wilderness surveys, biological monitoring and watershed restoration.

    Through a unique collaborative agreement with Washoe County Parks, The Great Basin Institute will be offering educational programs out of the Galena Creek Visitor Center.
