Williams-Mystic--The Williams College Mystic Seaport Maritime Studies Program

Williams-Mystic is an extraordinary one- semester marine studies program incorporating the academic excellence of Williams College and the coastal and historical setting of Mystic Seaport. Williams- Mystic students spend a semester studying the sea on our campus in Mystic, Connecticut, on the shores of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and from the deck of a sailing ship. One of our greatest wishes is that our graduates take away a fully interdisciplinary means of understanding humankind's relationship to the sea, in all its complexity. We hope to endow them with a vision that, no matter what careers they choose, will permanently enrich their lives and make them problem solvers and stewards of our world.
