Environmental Consumer enables consumers to take the next step to reduce their resource usage and environmental impact via tools, databases, and guidance that enable, reinforce, and communicate incremental and personally achievable lifestyle changes.
To that end, we provide information in accessible formats to consumers who are interested in learning how to make adjustments. We also provide tools that help amplify this impact by conveying to companies that consumers want environmental responsibility.
Currently we are a fiscally sponsored organization of the Sierra Nevada Alliance, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that protects and restores California's iconic Range of Light, but the organization will be incorporating in 2011.
