About Us

Partnership in Philanthropy (PIP) provides technical assistance in the form of fundraising consulting to struggling nonprofits in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Each selected nonprofit is matched with an experienced fundraising professional who works with the board and staff for 150 hours during Year One to teach ways to maximize the organization's philanthropic revenues, and 15 hours in Year Two to oversee the implementation of the custom-designed 12-month fundraising plan. PIP uses consultants to provide a series of workshops twice yearly throughout New Jersey in "The Basics of Fundraising", "The Role of the Board", "Writing for $'s", "Marketing Your Nonprofit", "Toolkit for Accounting Procedures of the Nonprofit" and "Nonprofit Volunteers". PIP also provides on-site, custom-designed trainings and board retreats. Applications and workshop schedules are available at www.PIPnj.org or call 973-701-9810.
