    “DUNK standing for Developing Unity, Nurturing Knowledge creates safe spaces for at-risk children and women aged 819 years living in deprived communities. We provide a space for our beneficiaries to play, learn, and grow; through sports, after-school support, life-skills, and vocational training. Through our programmes, we empower our children and young women to become agents of change in their own communities. DUNK is currently operating in the two most deprived communities in Accra: Nima and Jamestown, reaching out to 250 children and women annually.

    About Us

    hildhood is defined very differently in Africa-Ghana. Children grow out of their childhood very quickly and some will never have the chance of experiencing it; this versus the lack of organized activity or safe community spaces leave children with no choice than indulging themselves in kinds of unhealthy activities. Whether they live on the streets or they have to work to support their families, children have little time and opportunity to PLAY.
