The Intergenerational School

The Intergenerational School fosters an educational community of excellence that provides experiences and skills for lifelong learning and spirited citizenship for learners of all ages.

The Intergenerational School (TIS) is a charter school located in the Buckeye-Shaker neighborhood. We have seven multi age classrooms that are based on individual learning needs. This way students can learn in their own way and at their own pace. Another large part of our curriculum is integrating the exchange of older adult understanding and daily life connections to people and places in our community. All members of our community provide a rich experience for TIS students.
