About Us

MISSION

Ojai Raptor Center is dedicated to the care and protection of wildlife through:

● The rehabilitation and release of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife

● Participating in scientific discoveries that improve the standards of care of wildlife undergoing rehabilitation, and

● Educating and inspiring the community to become stewards of our environment.

VISION

We envision a world where communities are inspired to be stewards of the environment and coexist peacefully with healthy native wildlife populations.

Ojai Raptor Center (ORC) serves around 1,000 wildlife patients a year with the goal to release back to the wild, as well as serving the community in teaching about urban and native wildlife. Education programs we take into classrooms to bring information about wildlife to students that do not have the opportunity to get out into nature. Our hospital staff have dedication in teaching volunteers and interns about native species as well as researching new and scientific methods to improve the care we give our patients.
