About Us

Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans is one of the largest health and human service providers in the Gulf South. We are a not-for-profit agency made up of 50 plus programs and serve the poor and vulnerable population of our community, regardless of religion, race, color, or economic status.

Respecting the dignity and potential of each human person, Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans collaborates with the wider community to serve those in need. Impelled by the love and teaching of Jesus Christ, we offer life-giving programs, advocate for the voiceless, and empower the poor and vulnerable to foster a more just society.

Catholic Charities serves the civil parishes of Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, Washington, and St. Tammany.

Monthly Volunteer Information Sessions (VIS) are held at Howard Avenue. See website http://www.ccano.org/volunteer/ for dates
