    One in 300 Canadians suffer from iron overload (hemochromatosis). Too much iron in the body causes heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, mood disorders to name a few. The Canadian Hemochromatosis Society creates awareness, advocates for early testing, diagnosis and treatment to prevent suffering, disease and save lives.
