Advanced Initiatives in Medical Simulation (AIMS) is a 501 (c)(6) not for profit organization based in Washington, DC. AIMS is a coalition comprised of hospitals, universities, organizations, and individuals that are committed to promoting medical simulation as a way to improve the quality of health care and patient safety by reducing medical errors, ensuring provider competency, providing adequate training for health care professionals, and reducing the overall cost of health care.
