    Camp Bon Coeur's mission is to provide a safe summer camp environment in which children with heart defects can grow physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially while learning lifelong coping skills.

    About Us

    Camp Bon Coeur is a residential summer camp for children with congenital heart defects that is held in Louisiana each June. Staff and Campers come from across the nation and many staff are former campers. There is one session each summer for campers ages 8 - 16. Camp typically lasts 8 days. Campers participate in canoeing, swimming, drama, sports, art, team-building and Heart Class. Every evening, there is a different night activity that the campers love!

    Family Camp and Adult Camp is a three day weekend program for children and adults with heart defects and their families. Families come from across the nation to meet one another and to learn more about our camp program. Families participate in typical camp activities.
