Sankofa Collective Northwest is the rebranded name of PFLAG Portland Black Chapter, the first chapter of PFLAG in the nation to focus on race, gender, and the intersecting identities within communities of color.
Sankofa Collective seeks to promote the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons, their families and friends through: support; education; and advocacy, to end discrimination and secure equal human rights.
