About Us

ABOUT THE LEEZA GIBBONS MEMORY FOUNDATION

The Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation (LGMF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping caregivers. Our mission is to help family caregivers cope with Alzheimer’s & chronic illness through tips, strategies, & support. We do this through our two signature programs, our physical locations called Leeza’s Care Connection and, our peer-peer networking program or Helping U Grow Strong (HUGS) Program.

LGMF Public Health AmeriCorps

In 2022, the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation became the recipient of a large grant awarded through a collaboration between AmeriCorps and the CDC, called Public Health AmeriCorps. This grant allowed us to expand our reach and services through (CA, SC, TX, and NH) capacity building and our peer-to-peer networking program, Helping U Grow Strong (HUGS).

We are currently recruiting LGMF Public Health AmeriCorps Members for our 2024-2025 year of service! Learn more at www.leezascareconnection.org/apply. You can also reach out to Cece Rosopa our Public Health AmeriCorps Program Director at cece@leezascareconnection.org 🌻
