Changing Rein Equine Activities and Therapies

  • About Us

Changing Rein EAAT fosters the healing relationship between people and horses.

Changing Rein Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies is a horsemanship program serving individuals with disabilities and special needs through three programs. We provide structures therapeutic and adaptive riding lessons for people of all ages with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities with the goal of bringing riders to their highest level of independence. Our Hands on Horses program serves youth at risk through an equine facilitated learning curriculum teaching children and teens life skills such as responsibility, appropriate boundaries, communication and self-care. For adults we offer equine assisted psychotherapy with Dr Ruth Chaffee and equine specialist Sandra Boe.
