Covenant Healthcare and Hospice

About Us

Covenant Hospice provides support and care for terminally ill patients so that they may live as fully and as comfortably as possible. Considered to be the model for quality, compassionate care at the end of life, hospice care involves a team-oriented approach to medical care, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support that is tailored to the patient and family’s needs and wishes. The focus is on caring, not curing, and in most cases care is provided in the patient’s home or in a home-like setting. Covenant Hospice was the first hospice program in Tennessee.

We are not-for-profit, community-owned and based in East Tennessee. Our revenues stay in this area in the form of advances in treatment and technology, as well as innovative health improvement programs like Katerpillar Kids Camp, an annual bereavement support camp for children who have lost loved ones.

Covenant Homecare and Hospice is a top tier (Level V) partner with Honor Veterans program, a national awareness and action campaign created to assist veterans receiving end-of-life hospice care. We serve the following counties in East Tennessee: Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Cumberland, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier and Union.
