First Congregational Church of Long Beach

Our mission is:

• To faithfully work for the inclusion of, and justice for, all people, regardless of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, ethnicity or national origin, or any other particular element of a person’s total humanity, and for all of God’s creation.

First Congregational Church of Long Beach is a progressive Christian church that has a large LGBTQ membership. We are committed to Social Justice and the Arts and often describe ourselves as a church on the corner of Arts and Justice. We are located in downtown Long Beach, in a historic building that services the greater community through our congregation and our ministry partners.
