Alliance Against Family Violence and Sexual Assault

Our mission is: “To stop domestic violence and sexual assault in Kern County and assist survivors in reclaiming their lives.” We strive to offer programs that are responsive to the needs and concerns of our clients. We work diligently to enhance the physical and psychological safety of our clients. We respect the right of our clients to make positive life changes when they are ready. We seek productive partnerships with individuals and agencies that can benefit clients. We strive to monitor, reflect, and continuously improve our programs and services. 

We are committed to accomplishing our mission by offering the following services: Around the clock crisis response and shelter. Comprehensive prevention and education services. Counseling, case management and other supportive services. Advocacy with criminal justice, medical and social services organizations.
